Residential interiors: architecture of domestic space.

A home interior is more than decoration. It is the organisation of space, the quality of light, materiality, comfort and the relationship between rooms. We begin by understanding how the occupants live, then develop an environment that supports and expresses them across Spain, Sweden and Greece.

Our approach

Designed around how daily life actually works. The project begins with the client's routines, priorities, belongings and relationship with light. We survey the property, diagnose its technical constraints, test the spatial concept and material direction, then develop complete construction information and supervise the interior works through snagging and handover. WELL AP principles support air quality, acoustics, daylight, thermal comfort and low-emission materials.

Frequently asked questions

How does interior architecture differ from decoration?

Interior architecture works on the structure of space: layout, partitions, heights, openings, services and custom joinery. Decoration works on an already-defined space with furniture, fabrics and accessories. We work both levels in an integrated way when the project requires it.

Do I need a building licence for an interior design project?

It depends on the scope. Changes affecting structure, envelope, plumbing or gas installations, or spatial redistribution typically require a licence or prior notification to the council. Finishing works (floors, paint, joinery without structural modification) generally do not. We assess case by case at the project outset.

How is lighting design approached in an interior project?

Lighting design starts from the analysis of existing natural light: orientation, plan depth, ceiling height and external obstructions. On this basis we define artificial light in layers: general light, accent light, task light and ambient light. The result is specified in lighting plans and the electrical project file.

Can you work on a recently renovated apartment where I want to change the design?

Yes. We analyse the current state, evaluate what can be retained in good condition and propose an intervention strategy that maximises the value of the existing. Sometimes the most efficient solution is not to demolish everything but to act surgically on the elements with the greatest visual impact.

Do you design bespoke furniture?

Yes. Joinery and bespoke furniture detailing is an integral part of our interior projects. We design built-in wardrobes, bespoke kitchens, bookcases, dressing rooms and one-off pieces produced with specialist workshops in our network.
