Project monitoring for Edificio Salamanca, Madrid

Edificio Salamanca, Madrid

A project record designed for decisions

The reporting structure and update rhythm are defined around each commission. Clients can see what has changed, what remains open and what needs their attention without relying on fragmented messages or being physically present.

MONITORING

Make progress visible

Current status, dated observations, visual records, open questions and decisions remain connected in one clear project record.

MANAGEMENT

Coordinate and direct

Brief, consultant, procurement, programme, budget and change coordination belong to Project Management when included in the appointment.

How it works

01

Define the framework

We agree the reporting scope, update rhythm, recipients, milestones and reference information for the commission.

02

Organise project information

Status, documents, observations, images and decisions are arranged around the current phase rather than dispersed across messages.

03

Record project updates

Agreed visits and project information become concise updates with dated images, visible progress, open points and relevant context.

04

Maintain decision continuity

Actions, responsible parties and client decisions remain visible so each update explains what changed and what comes next.

Where it adds clarity

Projects delivered at a distance

For owners developing a home, renovation or villa while living elsewhere.

Investment and development

For clients who need a structured architectural view of progress, risks and decisions.

Complex delivery teams

For commissions where information from several parties needs one legible client-side record.

Key construction milestones

For projects requiring independent observations at agreed stages or before handover.

A private project space

Where used, project updates are organised in a private, password-protected space for the agreed recipients. The structure follows the commission and updates can be provided in English, Spanish, Swedish or Greek.

Scope and responsibilities

Clear scope and responsibilities

Project Monitoring does not replace the contractor's obligations, statutory site supervision, Project Management, quantity surveying, testing or certification unless any of these functions is expressly included in the written appointment. Observations are based on visible conditions and the documents made available at the time.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between project monitoring and project management?

Monitoring makes the project visible. It organises current status, dated observations, visual records, open questions and decisions into one project record. Project Management directs the work itself: brief, consultants, procurement, programme, budget and change coordination. Monitoring reports on the project, management runs it. The two can be appointed together or separately.

Can I follow the project if I live in another country?

That is the situation the service is built around. Status, dated site photographs, open points and the decisions waiting on you are kept in one place, so following the project does not depend on being present or on gathering information from separate message threads.

Who can see the project space?

Only the recipients agreed for the commission. The space is private and password-protected, and the list of people with access is set when the reporting framework is defined.

How often are updates published?

The rhythm is agreed at the start rather than fixed in advance, because it follows the phase and the pace of the work. Updates are tied to agreed visits and to the information available at that point, so each one reflects real change rather than a scheduled entry with nothing to report.

Is monitoring included in every commission?

No. It applies on selected commissions and only when expressly included in the written appointment. Observations are based on visible conditions and on the documents made available at the time, which is also why the scope is agreed in writing before the first update.
